Camden & Souvie {Portland, OR}

Camden & Souvie are gorgeous children that belong to gorgeous parents. I was able to photograph them in a gorgeous setting, the Columbia Children's Arboretum. There was a whole lot of gorgeous going on!

Sawyer - Time Flies...

Remember Sawyer Ann? Back on May 27th of last year, I had the privilege of celebrating her birth, and taking her very first photograph. Pretty special! Now she's a precious, beautiful 10 month old (today!) with an easy smile and some seriously world-class-caliber thigh chub.

Anyway, very fun that on MY birthday (today!) Sawyer helped me celebrate, and again allowed me to take her picture. Thanks, Sawyer, for helping me do what I love to do (take photos!) on my special day.

Lilianna - Sweet & Petite - { Portland OR}

How beautiful are these two? Lene and her spunky little peanut of a girl, Lilianna, allowed me to hang out for a morning and capture the precious interactions of mother and daughter. And what a lovely morning it was!

Baby Trent - Bittersweet {Seattle, WA}

Remember this little baby? Here he is at 6 months. Crazy how time flies. These were taken a few months ago, and this kid is already walking. He is so amazing.

Trent belongs to my beloved best friend, and these were taken on a hot, bright, bittersweet day in September when we bid goodbye, as she prepared to move her family across the country. I was honored to take these before they left, but I've also been taking my sweet time with them, knowing its will be a long while before I get to see or photograph Trent again.

Amy, Jedd, and Trent, I miss you guys so much already! Blessings in your new adventures, but don't forget to come home to those who love you when you're through!

Baby Aiden - Happy 1st Birthday! {Lake Oswego, OR}

I spent a recent morning with Aiden and his parents, grandparents, and uncle in Lake Oswego. This little baby is so, so, so precious, and (it was quickly apparent to me) so loved! I am a sucker for curls, and Aiden has a head full of perfect baby ringlets, along with a sweet disposition and charming smile to boot. Photographer heaven! Aiden's mom was prepared with balloons and first birthday cupcakes, and we had some fun photographing the little guy interacting with both.

Aiden's whole family is lovely, and made my job easy. His parents, Laura and David, are relocating to another state soon, and so it was especially sweet to get to capture the extended family together before the move.

Miss Avery -- Take 2!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Avery and her mom again, this time indoors.

This was my first time using any sort of indoor studio set-up and off-camera lighting. Shout out to my friend and photographer extrordinaire Timothy Horn for lending me some gear to make it happen!

Back to Avery...she has chub for miles, and it was not tough to talk her mom into letting me put her in a pink and black tutu. Isn't she adorable?

Liebert Family - Kennedy School

I met up with Mary, Jeff and their adorable boys at the Kennedy School on a cold and lovely Saturday afternoon. The family was laid back and easygoing, and I enjoyed getting to hang out with them for an hour to capture their interactions. I knew Mary in high school, and it was such a treat to see her all grown up, and now a doting, relaxed, beautiful mother with her boys.
